It's Easy to Donate to Temple Emanuel


Temple Emanuel, like many other nonprofit organizations, exists because of the generosity and thoughtfulness of its members and friends. Without their constant financial support, it would be difficult for us to achieve our goals. If you wish to make a donation, we would like you to know that there are several funds to which you can contribute. Please note, minimum fund donations are $7 unless otherwise noted.

General Fund - helps offset operating costs. We rely heavily on contributions which help us to meet the expenses that we incur in our day-to-day operations.
Rabbi's Discretionary Fund - allows Rabbi Meiri to respond to urgent needs within our congregation and to provide Tzedakah to worthwhile causes.
Cantor's Discretionary Fund - allows Cantor Silverman to respond to urgent needs within our congregation and to provide special programs of a musical nature.
Endowment Fund - provides long-term income to the Temple for investments made from donations and bequests.
Hineyni Fund - allows us to provide special services to our members in need.
Jason Streimer Fund - provides members of the Religious School and/or Youth Group opportunities to attend recognized leadership programs for Jewish youth
Kevin Butler Fund - provides the Religious School with material, equipment, and programs to enhance the education of our children.
Library Fund - to impove and maintain the Library.
Music Fund - provides for the needs of the choir and presentation of musical programs.
Temple Emanuel Learning Center - provides educational materials and supplies to enhance children's education and Jewish knowledge.
Memorial Book Fund ($500 minimum) - to perpetually memorialize our loved ones with an annual recognition on Yom Kippur and the Yahrzeit anniversary.
Prayerbook Fund ($25 minimum) - provides Shabbat prayerbooks for Temple Emanuel.
Bernice Winkler Memorial Family Service Prayer Book Fund ($18 minimum) - provides Religious School with specific educational material to enhance the education of our children.
Plaut Fund ($70 minimum) - funds purchases of the Plaut Torah Commentary for the Temple.
Tree of Life ($180 minimum) - to celebrate life-cycle events.
